Our offices are on the ninth floor within a building called South Side on Lamar (the former Sears and Roebuck large red brick building across the street from the Dallas Police Headquarters)

Be warned that the intersection of several major highways and downtown streets makes finding our building very challenging.  A simple set of directions cannot be given because it depends on which direction on which highway you are approaching.  Some freeway exits are to the right, and some are to the left.  Some require crossing several lanes of traffic to make the exit.  If you miss your exit, it is not always easy to simply turn around and correct your error.  Please do not hesitate to phone us if you need help.  214.421.7999.

Driving Directions

• If you are going north on I-35E, take the Cadiz Street exit before you reach downtown and go east on Cadiz.  Turn right on Lamar.  The building will be about 4 blocks down on the right.
  
• If you are going south on I-35E, take I-30 East, stay in the right lane and take the Lamar Street exit. Turn left at the light on Lamar.  The building will be about 4 blocks down on the right. 
  
• If you are going east on I-30, immediately after you cross under I-35 take the Lamar Street exit and turn left at the stoplight on Lamar.  The building will be about 4 blocks down on the right
  
• If you are going west on I-30, stay in the left lane and take the Ervay Street exit. Cross Ervay and stay on Griffin Street west to Akard. Turn left on Akard and go two blocks then turn right on Belleview.  Go west two blocks. Southside is on the SW corner of Lamar and Belleview.

Parking Directions

It is recommended that you park in the Amuse Restaurant parking lot on the corner of Lamar and Belleview.  The entrance to this parking area is off Lamar.  The Amuse restaurant is painted turquoise and black.  The lot is labeled “South Side on Lamar” parking.  There is a charge for parking ONLY in the evening.  Otherwise, no fee is necessary before 5:00 PM even though there is a box for coins.

If you park on the street on Lamar, there are meters which accept coins.  However, once the meter expires, you will be ticketed.

It is recommended that you do NOT use the parking lot immediately in front of South Side on Lamar unless you plan to stay LESS than two hours.  After that time, you will be ticketed and towed.

Another good transportation option is to use the nearby Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).  You can ride either the blue or red lines on the DART rail system to the Cedars Station.  The Cedars light rail station is immediately behind the Police Headquarters.  Once you exit the train, go west (toward the large buildings) Go west two blocks on Belleview to the South Side on Lamar Building.

Entering the Building

Use the main entrance on Lamar to enter the South Side building. There is a lobby immediately within the front entrance.  Sign in at the desk, then take the elevator to the 9th floor.  Turn right.  At the “T” turn right and proceed to the end of the hall.  Lofts 905 and 906 are located at the end of the hallway on the right.
