Shannon Hopkins - London
Shannon resonated with the idea when she was recently described as a “missions incubator” – a reflection of her engagement with secular culture, especially the creative aspects, and her consistent and continuing desire to both be and live the gospel among her friends. From Church Planting to creating networks to supporting pioneer missions leaders to projects against human trafficking, Shannon is passionate about seeing the gospel go out to her people, her generation. In a day when the church is declining against population growth and the west is becoming predominately secular and post-Christian she is innovating new ways to see the Gospel go out and the Kingdom come to this present ever-changing culture in the west. Currently she is based in London, England but her ministry is global in scope, she works across Europe and the U.S. Soul Cafe Kerrville, Wellspring Church Tomball, University Baptist Church Houston, and Union Baptist Association Houston are among her supporters.
