Our vision
Based on the scene in Rev: 7:9-10 of people of every nation, tribe, people and language gathered around the throne worshipping God and the prayer of Jesus in John 17, we seek to connect God’s people for God’s vision.
Our values
Prayer is the primary fuel. We are God-driven. Relationships are the commodity of our network. Collaboration is the fruit of networks and relationships. Churches on mission are primary. Strategic in intent, we are proactive and accountable.
What we do
WorldconneX works in the missions context created by God for the 21st century (new realities) to Activate Churches and provide Front Line Services so they can deploy missions personnel long-term while providing International Connections for strategic impact.
What does this mean?
CHURCH ACTIVATION WorldconneX helps congregations by first having them look inside at the people and the resources, gifts, skills and passions that God has placed within the church and its community. Every church is different. Each congregation has a unique DNA that can be used to impact the world for Christ. That’s what WorldconneX calls “turning the world upside down by doing missions from the inside out.”
WorldconneX provides four tools to help churches:
- Inside Out Weekend This event starting on Friday evening and concluding Sunday afternoon will help jump-start a congregation’s journey toward a strategic missional future. The timeframe can be customized to fit any congregation’s need. The purpose is to inspire and enlarge the congregation’s vision, equip the leadership, and identify next steps.
- Missions Coaching WorldconneX connects churches with a certified coach who can customize a consulting process to help a congregation become more strategic. The church will contract to work with the coach over a specified time period ranging from a few months to a year.
- Affinity Networks WorldconneX provides connections for churches, individuals, and ministries to come together around common interests such as people groups, nations or regions of the world. These networks create: (a) mutual learning; (b) sharing of information, resources and vision; (c) encouragement; and (d) experience of community.
- Pastor Plus Trips WorldconneX creates opportunities for pastors and key lay leaders to explore what God is doing in some of the most unreached places on earth and discover the possibilities for church connections. Most trips last 10-12 days, including one Sunday. The trips are led by leading mission practitioners.
FRONT LINE SERVICES: WorldconneX helps churches send their own people for long-term overseas ministry. Front Line Services connects churches with the best resources to prepare and send them—resources like (1) insurance solutions, (2) answers to tax questions, (3) retirement account possibilities, (4) travel documentation and health information, (5) training for overseas living and ministry, (6) options for financial support / support raising, and others. We also connect churches with other churches and individuals to help them send their own missionaries.
INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS: WorldconneX is focused on global Body of Christ cooperation for the sake of the Great Commission. We are involved in several key initiatives on the cutting edge of God’s work in the world. We would love to connect you into these efforts and help broaden your strategic connections in the following ways:
- Global Connectors: We can connect you with a global network of connectors who can help you and your church connect with strategic and effective work anywhere in the world. Many of these are key national and international leaders from these various countries and regions.
- Ethnê: We are serving as a part of Ethnê, a new global missions network focused on the Unreached people without access to the Gospel. Ethnê is truly global, with ¾’s of the leaders from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
- Crisis Response: We are serving as a part of Frontier Crisis Response Network that is focused on global Body of Christ networking to responds to disasters, wars and other crises in areas where the church is not well represented.
- Networks: To increase your effectiveness, we can connect you with key initiatives and networks such as: Comibam (Mission Network of Latin America and Spain and Portugal), several Business As Mission efforts and networks, the World Christian Database, Church Planting Movements and Trainers, International Prayer Networks, and various field networks in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North and South America.
