Inside Out Weekend
Three days can transform your church’s understanding of its unique design (the gifts and abilities of your members) and of God’s desire to use your congregation for Kingdom impact.
If you want to turn the world upside down, you have to start from the inside out. Your congregation is wonderfully created for participation in God’s mission. People across the community and around the world are waiting for your church members to be the instruments of God’s grace to them.
Through participation in the inside out weekend, members will
• identify ways God has already prepared them for His mission
• see and hear others who have found spiritual fulfillment by investing their skills, abilities and gifts in neighbors and nations
• envision their church as a local and global mission center
• celebrate the various mission expressions in which their church is already engaged
• seek to invest their lives in strategic mission engagement for His glory.
The inside out weekend will:
Enlarge your church’s vision and understanding of how God is reshaping the world for His purposes
Equip church leaders to understand the DNA of a missional church and envision what that might look like for your church
Exalt God through proclamation of the biblical and historical role of the church as His sent people
Examine pathways that will further develop your design in God’s mission
A certified WorldconneX facilitator will direct the inside out weekend that begins with a Friday evening banquet for adults, continues with a Saturday morning leadership seminar exploring the Missional Church culture, engages all members in a special Sunday morning Bible study and celebrates the joy of serving God’s mission as the church gathers to worship.
